FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Common questions about getting matched with a Charlotte-area dog groomer, mobile versus shop visits, prices and what to expect.
Questions, answered.
How does the matching work?
You send a request with your dog's details and location. We review it and refer it to an independent groomer who works your area and handles your dog's coat.
Does it cost anything to be matched?
No. Asking is free, and you only pay the groomer if you decide to book.
Which parts of the Charlotte region do you cover?
The city itself and surrounding towns in Mecklenburg, Union, Cabarrus, Iredell and Gaston counties, as groomers allow.
Should I choose mobile or a shop?
Mobile saves time and is gentler on anxious dogs, but costs more. A shop is cheaper and works for most dogs.
How fast will I hear back?
That depends on the groomer and how busy they are. Giving flexible days and times helps.
What details help the most?
Breed, weight, coat length, last groom date and any behavior notes. Add your town and parking situation for van visits.
Do groomers need vaccine records?
Many do, usually rabies and other core shots. Each groomer has its own rule, so ask when they contact you.
Can I switch groomers later?
Of course. You are free to try someone else whenever you like.
